CECIL LEOPOLD WILKIE
May 22, 1969 – December 9, 2021
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Raymond and Leris; siblings, Kirk (Patricia), Crystal (Sheridan), many aunties, uncles, countless cousins and friends.
We would also like to thank the staff at Riverview Palliative care.
Cecil was born on May 22, 1969 in Winnipeg, MB. He graduated from Dakota Collegiate. He worked at the Winnipeg airport as passenger screener alongside his mother and then he worked at Patene building supplies as a warehouse worker and forklift driver.
Cecil has many passions as a musician (drummer) and artist. He was youthful at heart, which developed a passion for comics. Cecil was always enthusiastic and the life of the party with a great sense of humour.
We will miss Cecil. Rest in Peace.

My sincere condolences to the Wilkie family. Cecil and I were school-mates at Dakota Collegiate, and remained friends afterwards. He was a such fun guy to be around and I never saw him without a smile on his face. We enjoyed having the same sense of humor, being that we shared the same birthdate, although I was a couple of years older. He truly was one of a kind.
