JOYCE LYNDON
Joyce is survived by daughter Valerie Swanson and son Norman Blagden, as well as granddaughters, Danelle and Katrina Hueging, and grandsons, Justin and Charlie Blagden. She will also be sadly missed by her brother Robert Bowler, sister Bernice Semeniuk, and many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by husband Claude Blagden in 1979, and husband Mervyn Lyndon in 2005, as well as Merv's daughters, Ginny and Tracy. Mervyn's children, Randy, Carla and Sherry also mourn the loss of their stepmother.
Joyce loved gardening and was renowned for her gladiolus and tomatoes. Many friends and neighbours benefited from her green thumb. She loved her John Deere "convertible" and proudly cut her own grass with it as well as made short trips to visit the neighbours. She also enjoyed watching all kinds of sports on TV - especially curling. Later in life, she rejoined the work force and spent many years working first at a bookstore in Stonewall, and later at the Stonewall Post Office, where she made many lifelong friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, MB. Due to public health restrictions, all attendants must be fully vaccinated and provide confirmation before attending.
