REV. DEACON NICK KOHUCH
May 30, 1926 December 17, 2015
At this time of year, while everyone's thoughts turn to Christmas, ours undoubtedly return to you. This year is still so different as things are not back to normal in our world, both from COVID and from missing your presence in our lives. We can't help but wonder how you would have reacted to all of this, what you would be saying to us, what advice you'd be giving, especially to your grandkids, and to the folks and the workers on your floor at Holy Family. In many ways, we're glad you didn't have to experience this craziness we're going through. We can't imagine what it would have been like for us, not being able to visit you freely, or how you would have felt being all alone. We suppose you would have remained stoic in the Kohuch way, and steadfast in your optimism that things will get better. We have no doubt you would be preaching patience, acceptance, tolerance; values you lived by. And it's that guidance we could all use right now. Even in your absence you continue to inspire us, and we thank you for that as we remember you at Christmas, and always.
