EMILIEN J. BRUNEAU
1930 - 2021
Emile is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rose Bruneau, daughter Fran (Gord), son Brian, and daughter Janice.
Emile was the ninth child of Emilia (Desrosiers) and Ramond Bruneau. Emilien was predeceased by siblings, Leona, Donot, Delima, Irene, Hilaire, Dennis, Fernande, Agathe, and Dave. He is survived by siblings, Marie, Germaine, and Real.
Emile spent the first 20 years of his working life in the Canadian Armed Forces (1st Division R.C.H.A.) He finished his working career with the City of Winnipeg Parks Department.
Emile retired to his cabin in the woods at St. Malo, MB where he and Rose spent 29 happy years. Recently they moved to a senior apartment in Winnipeg, and the last year in an assisted living apartment.
Emilien was 91 years young at the time of his passing.
Dad, you will be sorely missed but forever in our hearts and thoughts.
Cremation has taken place and interment will be at a later date, Covid 19 allowing.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Emile's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.

Dear Aunt Rose, Fran, Brian and Janice, Our heartfelt condolence to your family. He often came to visit us at St-Malo beach where he always knew where to find us, especially when we had our Mom with us. He was one of my favorite uncles. We have wonderful memories of him. We will miss him dearly. Miss you guys. Hope we will be able to get together if ever this pandemic ends. Aunt Rose: My heartfelt condolences is with you, Fran & Gord, Brian and Janice. Uncle Emile was my favorite uncle and will be deeply missed. I truly enjoyed my visits with you and uncle Emile whenever I went camping. It was a great joy to have you and uncle Emile at my campsite one summer. May Our Lord grant you and your family strength and comfort in your time of sorrow.
