PAUL PELLETIER
Born in Montreal on June 4, 1933, Paul grew up in St. Boniface, Manitoba, where he completed his studies in chemical engineering at the College Universitaire de Saint-Boniface before leaving for Quebec in 1956 with his wife Jeannine. He has had a career primarily in the pulp and paper industry and retired as Vice-President of Cascades in the 1990s. He remained involved as a volunteer in several organizations and boards of directors in the region throughout his life. He was a devoted and always present father for his five children and adored by his 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Disciplined and hard-working, he had built an idyllic haven for himself and family on the shores of Lake Clair in Weedon, Quebec. It was one of his greatest prides and a place he cherished greatly.
He is survived by his son Jean (France) and daughters, Claire (Daniel), Lorraine (Tony), Francoise (Bruce) and Helene (Marc), his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his brother Pierre (Suzanne LaRiviere), and his sisters, Suzanne and Nicole (David Fedirchuk), as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
A virtual service was held at the Cooperative Funeraire de l'Estrie, in Sherbrooke, on August 20, 2021 followed by a tribute ceremony. For anyone wishing to view it, it may be accessed on their website. The burial of the ashes will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an organization or foundation of your choice.

Mes sympathies a mes petites et petit cousin Pelletiers. I first met Paul when I travelled to Montreal in 1984 to visit Jeannine my 1st cousin. When I moved to Quebec in 1995, I visited them. Got to meet their children and grandchildren. I remember going to their cottage and had a surprise birthday party. Thank you for the surprise Paul and Jeannine. Je suis a Ste. Julienne, Quebec, au nord de Montreal dans le coin de Joliette maintenant. Claire, if you have the chance contact me via my email (1of3brothers@gmail.com) - Posted by: Richard Girouard - Ste.
