Alison and I were very sorry to hear of the loss of Rodney. We have many memories from Boy Scouts and afterward, especially sitting around a campfire listening to him playing his guitar and having a great time. I remember him as a very cheerful, outgoing and friendly person. Our condolences to Alvin, Debbie and all who knew him. - Posted by: Ron Sellen (Friend) on: Dec 20, 2021

My condolences to the whole Knopp Family on the untimely passing of Rod! As you know, your parents and mine were good friends and got together from time to time! Growing up Rod and I were good friends and on occasion I would even be invited to stay overnight! It was all good times except for the lining up at night for our dose of Cod Liver Oil (not gel pills but the juice straight from the old Watkins bottle) Yuck!! The things you do to keep a great friend! LOL Really lost track when I went to Regina in July 1972 and then got posted to British Columbia after training but will cherish all of the memories of growing up with such a great friend and all the things we were able to get into growing up! Rod was a great guy and will be greatly missed by me and a whole lot of people!! Rest In Peace Rod! (Ticker)! - Posted by: Cliff Wilde (Friend) on: Dec 19, 2021

Our condolences to Debbie & Alvin & the rest of the Knopp family... We are very saddened to learn of Rodney passing as we of knew each other from an early age as our parents were very good friends ... they definitely had many a good times when they all got together... I also went to high school with Rod & sat across from him which was a challenge, as he would always try make you laugh & get you in trouble when the teacher was talking... Those were the good old days! After the school days we would bump into each other occasionally but lost track when he moved out west... I occasionally would bump into Debbie or Alvin & catch up a bit on how he was doing along with the others in the family...He will definitely be missed ... RIP my friend.
