KATHERINE REYNAUD
April 30, 1915 November 29, 2021
Katherine (Kay, Katie) was predeceased by her husband Frank, brother Elvin Boggs and sisters, Lillian, Iona and Elaine. Left behind to mourn her are her daughter Eleanore (John), several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cremation has taken place and according to her wishes, there will be no service. Katherine will be laid to rest at a later date next to her husband Frank in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Katherine will be missed by friends at the Riverside Lions Seniors Residences along with her extended family in Selkirk and across Canada. (Thanks to Ray and Shirley for their help over the years). Kay had a ready laugh and an optimistic spirit. At 100, with Eleanore's help, she arranged her own birthday party that brought together dozens of family and friends from across the country.
Donations in Katherine's memory can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
I love you Mom. Rest in peace.

Dear Ellenor, So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a good friend and we kept in touch for many many years. I would phone her on her birthday and she always phoned me on mine. I thought something had happened as I hadn’t heard from her this year. I have many fun memories of working with your Mom at South Park, living with her and your Dad and curling and fishing with them. My deepest condolences go out to you and John. She will be very missed! Muriel Lypowy - Posted by: Muriel Lypowy (Friend) on: Aug 11, 2022

My condolences Eleanore. I will dearly miss Aunty Kay. She was the main source of my knowledge of family history and always so much fun to talk to. Maybe she and my mom are once again romping around in the little blue jeep. Leeann and Brian - Posted by: Leeann King (niece) on: Dec 28, 2021

Dear Eleanore, We are very sorry for your loss. Your Mom was quite a woman. We always loved to hear her stories about her life, her family and many funny incidents that would bring out her infectious laugh. Her love of chocolate cake will always make us smile. Aunt Kaye would almost be giggling when she ate it. She had a very kind heart and a very strong sense of family. We loved her very much and will miss her. God bless her. Mrs Reynaud was a neighbor in our building in Windsor Park many many years ago. She was the only person my now 51 yr old son would want to babysit him. She was patient, loving and the greatest sitter anyone could ask for. She was gentle with children and they took an immediate liking to her. I thought about her many times but sadly, we never reconnected. She certainly lived a full life and I offer my sincere condolences to her daughter and family. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Louise Morgan (Neighbor from many years ago) on: Dec 18, 2021

Dear Eleanore--We tip our hats to the life of your mother a "Grand Young Lady". The infrequent meetings with our friend Kay over fifty years were always met with a "how are you folks" until well passed her hundredth birthday. Rest in Peace Kay.
