JEANNE DUECK
(nee TOUROND)
May 28, 1935 - December 20, 2021
Mom was predeceased by her husband Neil Dueck, daughter Debbie, and grandson Danny.
She is survived by her sons, Doyle (Denise) and Dan (Karen), and son-in-law Grant Stutsky. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Chad (Sylvie) Dueck, Jennifer (Jay), Dallas and Jordie Friesen, Cassandra Debets (Garrett), Amanda (Michael) Hildebrand, Leland, Christian and his family. Jeanne will be mourned by her sister Agnes Furber from Surrey, BC, and sister-in-law Betty Falk, many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Jeanne was born in Marchand, Manitoba on May 28, 1935. She met Neil at a dance. (I don't think Neil had a choice) and they soon married August 18, 1956. Their three children, Doyle, Debbie and Dan soon followed. Their family life was full, between the kids playing sports, camping at Windego, and travelling to many places.
Mom was always the proud and supportive mother. Her family were everything to her. She and Dad worked very hard so that her kids had everything that she didn't. Their home was always open and welcoming to all. She had this connection with all her grandkids, from helping to look after them when they were young to having Texas hold 'em evenings when they were older. She was incredibly generous, always giving whatever she had.
Mom always believed the angels looked after us, she always said she saw the angels come for Dad when it was time. We know she is reunited with Dad, Debbie and Danny, and she has become our guardian angel.
We love you, Mom.
A private family service will be held.

I met Jeanne when she became my aunt Wanda's roommate at Oakview. She was our Angel with the kindness and care that she showed Aunty Wanda. Thought of her often but with COVID couldn't go to see her. Sending my love and prayers to all her family who meant the world to her. - Posted by: Beverly Penner (Friend) on: Dec 26, 2021
