NELSON (HERSON) VALDEZ
Nelson will be missed by his wife of 48 years, Gigi/Ghud; his children, Giselle (Meni), Genie and Gigi (Mark); sister-in-law Regina (Diony); niece Richelene (Steven); brother-in-law Louis Ferenczi (Irene); grandchildren, Teraya (Matthew), Serena, Heth-Nelson, Maya, Graciana, Maxon and Sadie; and great-grandchild Caiden.
Nelson was born in the Philippines, on April 23, 1939, and immigrated to Canada in 1974. He will always be remembered by his genuine smile, his signature "Nelson wave", and contagious laugh.
Lamay viewing at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens (4477 Main St.) on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 between 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Funeral services at St. John's Cantius Church on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
