GARRY (GERALD) MIKOLASH
April 4, 1942 - December 19, 2021

With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Garry Mikolash, on December 19, 2021, after a brief illness. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Irene of 58 years; his daughters, Michele (John), Charlene (Ian) and Shelley (Daniel); grandchildren, Cody (Courtney), Kylee, Evan, Nicholas, Matthew, Brynna and Isabel; great-grandchild Drew; brothers-in-law, Tom and Eric; and nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Gertrude and Jacob; his siblings, Eleanor, Ralph, Bob, Jim, Jack and Dorothy.
Garry loved spending time with his grandchildren. From cheering them on at baseball and hockey games to playing endless games of hide and seek, Garry remained incredibly active and present in their lives.
Garry loved the outdoors, never refusing a good campfire and taking his long daily walks around the neighbourhood or in the hot sun in Mexico. Garry and Irene loved spending time with their friends, having weekly coffee at Sals. More friendships were made when they began their yearly trips to Mexico, where Garry would spend hours basking in the sun.
He will be forever remembered for his quick wit, sense of humour and kind heart.

A Limb has fallen from our Family Tree
