February 24, 1967 – December 20, 2021

After a long courageous battle with cancer, Mark passed away at Riverview Health Centre on December 20, 2021.
Mark is survived by his wife of 28 years Darlene (Brown), his parents Eugene and Joan Typa, sister Dawn Bodnar (David), nephews Ryan, Kyle and Cory, Aunts Barbara, Evelyn and Janice and extended family. He also leaves to mourn his dogs Amy, and Riley, and cat Molly.
He obtained his 5th class Power Engineer Cert. and joined Winpak in 1999. He was a hard worker, loyal employee and a perfect husband. He always had a smile and a joke that brightened everyone's day.
A big thank you to Cancer Care and the palliative care team. A special thank you goes out to his palliative care nurse, Yohannes and home care aid, Morgan for the wonderful care he received at home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CancerCare MB or to Winnipeg Humane Society.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00pm at Sterling Mennonite Fellowship Church, 1008 Dakota Street.
Proof of vaccinations, photo id will be verified before entering.
