Mom, a year has passed since you left me. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. It breaks my heart that I didn't get to tell you that I love you one last time. I wish I could've been by your bedside when you took your final breath. Just to hold your hand would've meant so much to me. There's a hole in my heart and I'm lost without you. It has been a very difficult year for me. I miss you so much.
