Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I volunteered with Rose at First English Lutheran Church, I was a young mother, Rose was always full of wisdom, positivity and stories that brought on loads of Laughter. I have never met anyone so full of joy, even through any trials she went through. I still try to emulate her to this day, always thinking how would Rose get through this day. My children all think of her as a beautiful, positive, fantastic example of how to go through life. - Posted by: Lana English (She was my hero) on: Jan 06, 2022

  • She was such a wonderful woman with such a big personality! My Mom Irene Steinke worked with her at the Thrift Store at First English Lutheran. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She will be truly missed. - Posted by: Tracy Liebrecht (Friend) on: Jan 05, 2022

  • I have known Rose since we were members of First English Lutheran Church. My memory of her is her friendliness to everyone. Never did I hear her complain. She accepted what life handed her. Always happy. Although our contact the last few years were through phone calls I appreciated that I had a chance to know her. My sincere sympathy to family who will miss and mourn her passing. - Posted by: Elsie Berg (Friend) on: Jan 01, 2022

  • So sorry to hear of Rose’s passing. I participated with her at the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre in the PACE program. She was a hoot. Also, on one of her trips to Mexico she brought me back a purse which I still use in the summers on my walks. She was a lovely lady and always spoke of Robert her son and daughter-in-law which she was so proud of. My condolences to you. - Posted by: Carol-Anne (Friend) on: Jan 01, 2022
