We are deeply saddened by the news of Orest's sudden passing. Our sincerest condolences to all his family and friends. Orest was an old friend who grew up in the Chatfield area not far from the Narcisse area where we grew up. Our paths crossed again over 30 years ago when we both worked at Burns Meats Packing plant. After retirement we re-acquainted as Orest (Mr. Bones as we called him) provided us with hundreds of pounds of meat scraps from his meat cutting shop. Orest was a hard working man who had a passion for meat processing and hunting. The only thing he loved more was his grandchildren which was very evident every time he spoke of them. We always enjoyed chatting with him when he made his scrap meat delivery. He will be dearly missed by many. Rest in Peace Old Friend.
