BRENT (HOSS) FRIESEN

Brent "Hoss" Friesen, 60, of Virden, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2021, due to a heart attack suffered while shovelling snow.
Hoss was a memorable character (some may even use the words, "big teddy bear," but not to his face), who will be sadly missed by many, including his past and present coworkers and customers in Niverville, Morris, and Virden.
Hoss was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Alvina Friesen. He is survived by his sister Val (Alvin) Ginter, brother Blair, nieces, Shevon (Jamy) Toews and Shaylene (Tyler) Friesen, nephew Ryan Ginter, and several close aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Due to Covid, the family is planning to hold a Celebration of Life, in Niverville, Manitoba, sometime in the spring of 2022.
Special thanks to the Virden RCMP, Piston Ring employees, and Rob Bicknell for their support, help, and kindness during this time.

  • I will always remember Brent arriving to work at full speed (but usually late). Proudly Riding his Honda Goldwing or his Dodge Coronet (I think it was a Coronet, might have been a Super B, bad memory as it was some 40 years ago). Always went the extra mile. My condolences to the family and friends. He was a character (in a good/special way). - Posted by: Tony Magian (Former Employer - Hanover Bearing and Automotive) on: Jan 06, 2022
