LAURA ADELL TRONIAK
(née BABISKY)
October 24, 1953 January 2, 2022
Laura Adell Troniak (née Babisky), cherished wife, mother, auntie, and baba, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on January 2, 2022.
She is survived by Dennis, her husband of 49 years, her children, Shauna (Kevin), Jon (Diana), and Daniel (Jill), her sisters, Betty, Marjorie, Kelly and Lynne, and her beloved grandchildren, Xenia, Leo, Lucas, Annika, Jade, Theodore and Danielle. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Winnifred Babisky, her brothers, Gerald and Jackie, and her sister Brenda.
Laura was very strong with a soft heart. She was selflessly dedicated to both raising a family and managing a law practice with Dennis over many years. In her later years she and Dennis spent winters in Arizona where she entertained friends and family and enjoyed visits from her children and grandchildren. She left us far too soon and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held for Laura in spring 2022.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura's memory can be made to Little Britain United Church in St. Andrews, Manitoba.
The family extends their gratitude to the caregiving staff at Riverview Health Centre for helping to ensure Laura's final days were spent in comfort and dignity.

I worked with Denis and Laura on the Residential School Files from approximately 2003 until 2006. I was on the other side of the table for the Government of Canada. (Luckily I was not counsel). The Troniaks always went to bat for their clients, and knew when to play their cards. (The Case of Flora M comes to mind---and the National News.) We saw it coming. I had the fortune to met Laura and Dennis in 2005 or 2006, they were quite the couple, complimented each other well. My condolences to Dennis and the Family. She was quite a lady.
