It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Leandre at the age of 87 on January 4, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre.
A memorial service to celebrate his life is being planned for a later date once it becomes safer for all of us to gather due to the current pandemic situation.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a longer obituary will follow.

  • I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the Durand family especially to his 3 daughters. Being his neighbor for the last 18 years has been a real blessing for me. He was always ready to help anytime he'd see where help was needed. I could count on him to clear the snow on my driveway every winter. His humorous expressions made it a pleasure to chat with him. He always enjoyed comparing our tomato crop in July and August. His special saying was "good fences make good neighbors". Rest in Peace M. Durand. - Posted by: Viviane Walker (Neighbor ) on: Jan 08, 2022
