ANTOINE MARIE THERESE GASTON FAUCONNIER
June 18, 1938 – December 26, 2021
It is with deep sadness, but with wonderful memories we announce the passing of Antoine (Tony) Fauconnier on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 83.
Tony was born in Geraardsbergen, Belgium on June 18, 1938, and lived in various areas in East Flanders before moving to Ontario, Canada in 1953.
He moved back to Belgium temporarily at the age of 22 where he met his wife, Rita Van Hamme. They were married April 20, 1963. He, now with Rita, returned to Canada in 1965 to begin raising their family together.
Tony was a hardworking man his whole life and had many various jobs in trucking, logging, and working in the snowmobile industry.
Tony was a family man with two daughters (Christel and Chantal), ten grandchildren, and one great- grandchild.
Tony made his public declaration of faith in Jesus on October 3, 2021, after coming to faith in Christ in 2007. He has gone on to be with his Lord. "As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness." (Psalm 17:15).
Officiating will be Pastor Earnest Goertzen. Pallbearers are Brad Thiede, Brayden Thiede, Christopher Thiede, Dave Ruchkall, Joel Ruchkall, Steven Ruchkall.
Private Family Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2021, at 11:00 am.

I cannot explain it in english. Show this to Rita or Betty for translation. Tony was ons bekend als een harde werker met een zacht karakter. Wij zijn er van overtuigd dat Tony een grote leemte achterlaat voor al wie hem dierbaar was. Wij gedenken Tony in onze gebeden.
