ELSIE JESKE
(nee WEGNER)

On the morning of January 10, 2022, at 92 years of age with her husband and family at her side, Elsie peacefully entered her eternal Heavenly home.
Elsie was born August 14, 1929, in West Prussia, the eldest of seven siblings. At age 16 1/2 Elsie was orphaned, becoming the guardian of her remaining five siblings. Soon afterward she accepted Jesus as her personal Saviour in whom she trusted day by day. She was a great woman of courage! In 1953 Elsie and her siblings immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada where she met and married Richard Jeske and began raising her family.
She was a dedicated member of Immanuel Pentecostal Church, singing in the choir, helping in various capacities if her health allowed.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years Richard, children, Bert (Linda), Harold (Angie), Doris (Gerald), Gloria (Jeff), nine grandchildren with their spouses and 23 great-grandchildren. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at Meadowood Manor with Pastor Dave Holland and Pastor Rick Bettig for their compassionate care of Elsie over the last six years.

A private family service was held Friday, January 14, 2022.
