November 2, 1953 - January 11, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and friend, Diane Perras. Diane passed Tuesday evening, January 11, 2022 at the Grace Hospice after a brief battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Corinne (Adam), son Stephen (Lauren), and her grandson (Lucas). Diane loved being "Memere" to her "boo boo" Lucas.
Diane was predeceased by her parents, Gilles and Jean Perras.
Diane was born and raised in Winnipeg and grew up spending many summers at Clearwater Bay with her family. Diane also loved spending time at the family cottage at Black Sturgeon and Diane took off every summer to spend it at the lake with her kids. Diane loved being by the water, whether it was at the lake or when she was able to travel to British Columbia. Countless memories surrounded her life at the lake or by the ocean. Diane longed to go back to the lake or BC and spend time by the water.
Diane was an accomplished counsellor with the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM) for over 30 years.
Diane's wishes were to have cremation take place with no formal service. Interment will be held at a future date.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospice for the exceptional and genuine care they took with our mom in her final months.
In lieu of flowers please consider spending quality time with your loved ones. Donations can be made to the Grace Hospice or CancerCare Manitoba in Diane's honour.
