MARIA DOS ANJOS PIMENTEL
May 29, 1947 - January 14, 2022

To love a mom and then to part is the greatest trial of the human heart.
God in heaven hear our prayer, guard our mother with loving care. Be a good shepherd, don't leave her alone. Love her as we loved her when she was home.

Peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022, Mom passed away at the tender age of 74 years.
Maria was born in Faja de Cima, Ponta Delgado, Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal. She immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba January 23, 1973 where she resided until her passing. She became a Canadian citizen on June 11, 2019 which was one of her greatest achievements. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was always there for anyone who needed help or even a smile. She lived up to her middle name which means "of Angels".
Maria was predeceased by her parents, Antonio Reis, Maria Reis, her sibling Manuel, and her daughter Suzana. Maria leaves to pass on her spirit of life to her sons, Jose Carlos, Joaoluis (Staci), Paulo Manuel (Diana), and her daughters, Anabela, Barbara (Kevin); as well as her grandchildren, Sean, Shaynna, Chadd, Chaylynna, Samantha, Alexander, Lauren, Emily, Matthew, Stephanie, Ashley, Anthony, Landen, and great-grandchildren, Joey, Joseph, Krystyne, Keirstyne, Skyler, Jaxon, Xavier, and Baley.
Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Bethlehem United Apostolic Church, 1456 Arlington St.
