Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Dear Doreen, I am so saddened to hear of Norm’s passing. We had been neighbours since 1967. Sandra and I were just little kids when we moved into our home on St. Martin. Mom and dad always enjoyed having you living next door. More than neighbours, You saw us through many life adventures including the birth of our twin brothers Tony and Fred, marriages and children. We loved seeing you both every summer after moving to Calgary. My girls always made sure to say hello to Norm every moment they saw him. His favourite name for my youngest was squeaker who could be heard shrieking at the top of her lungs every time she was in the pool. Dad and mom were so grateful to have you as friends. Norm will be missed by many and I will always cherish memories I have of both of you. Karin - Posted by: Karin Lade Jollimore (Neighbors for 40plus years.) on: Jan 28, 2022

  • My deepest condolences to auntie Doreen and the rest of the family. Uncle Norm was one of the most amazing men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My fondest memory of him was actually when I first met him, I walked in the door at their place on Easter and he looked at me said " where can I get me one of these?" His warm smile and sense of humor will surely be missed. - Posted by: Calan Boily (Family by marraige) on: Jan 26, 2022

  • Condolences to Doreen and family. Became friends thru Andy Laramee years ago. Ended up being business neighbors on Speers. Kept in touch by email, mostly jokes for many years. Will miss this contact. Armand & Yvonne Lafreniere - Posted by: Armand & Yvonne Lafreniere (Friends) on: Jan 25, 2022

  • Our deepest condolences to Doreen and Family. I worked with Norm when he purchased Medallion Milk. He had a strong work ethic and expected the same from his employees. Norm had a big heart and was a big teddy bear once you got to know him! Hugs - Posted by: Kerry & Luc Laramee (Friends) on: Jan 22, 2022
