DARRELL SIMARD
May 9, 1984 – January 14, 2022
It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son at the age of 37.
He is survived by his mother Theresa (Fred); father Robert (Janet) and stepsister Jennifer; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Darrell was a plumber by trade, although his greatest asset was his smile and his ability to make friends so easily.
He will be greatly missed and remembered by so many.

Condolences to Terry and extended families. I met Darrell in elementary school and we quickly became close friends with our shared interests of watching scary movies, playing video games, and building time machines out of cardboard boxes. I remember Darrell and I playing pranks on Bruce because we loved his annoyed reactions. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve Darrell. Building snowmen (or ice people), catching frogs/tadpoles in the ditches, playing hide and seek at night, and of course the endless video game nights. You left a positive impact on the lives of many. Darrel was always very quick, with his wit and his reaction skills at video games. He became friends with most people I introduced to him.
