OLGA BARZ
February 21, 1929 - January 21, 2022
Olga Barz passed away on January 21, 2022, at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home at the age of 92 years.
She was born on February 21, 1929 in Januschen, Poland, came to Canada in 1953 and married Hans Barz the same year. Olga was a faithful, caring and loving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Hans and brothers, Erich and Edmund.
Olga is survived by her three children: Kurt (Pearl); Harry (Patti) and Karen (Dave) Muys in Calgary. Oma will be deeply missed by her seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her three sisters-in-law.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Olga's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at River Park Gardens for their care and compassion in the last two years.
Mom is at peace to be with the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Deepest sympathies to Harry, Kurt, Karen, and their families. Your mom was such a sweet woman. I often enjoyed speaking with her at gatherings at my mom and dad’s. I am sad to learn of Olga’s death. It was a delight to be her pastor at Lutheran Church of the Cross. I enjoyed many visits with Olga and Hans some years ago. Olga’s quiet and calm presence and positive outlook were gifts to all. comforted by God’s arms surrounding you in each other and those who hold you in prayer.
