EDNA BOSS
October 13, 1928 – January 23, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Edna Boss, at the age of 93.
Edna is lovingly remembered by her daughter Laverne, daughter-in-law Judy, grandchildren, Cody (Alanna), Kirby (Mike), Kyle (Leah), great-grandchildren, Piper, Skylar, Hendrix, and Cooper; as well as her sisters, Olga, Mavis (Jake), and brother Ray (Christine). Edna was predeceased by her husband Paul, son Floyd, and brother Roy.
Edna was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family. She never missed an important event, whether it be a family gathering or an evening with close friends. Edna was also an avid fan at all her grandchildren's sporting events, and a proud spectator at school and life events.
Edna was known for being the best friend anyone could ask for. She would never turn down an invitation for a ladies get together, often filled with board games, cards, and bowling.
Edna was an active member of her congregation. She was a member of the 55 plus bible study group and a member of Growing In Grace Group. Edna always made sure she was dressed to impress in her Sunday best.
Edna's green thumb was legendary. Her passion for gardening was evident as she oversaw planning and planting of the floral landscape at her condo for over 30 years. Her long-time home on Laxdal Road was known for its luscious gardens and show stopping flowers. After spending many hours gardening, she would relax and enjoy watching the birds, with a cup of tea in her favourite mug.
Heaven has gained an amazing women and true angel. Psalm 23
In accordance with Edna's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at West Park Manor (Claire), and 4 North at Victoria General Hospital.
Funeral arrangements have been made through Mosaic Funeral Home and Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Samaritan's Purse or CancerCare Manitoba.
