LORRAINE TRUDEAU

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Trudeau (nee Kilfoyle) in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 11, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lorraine leaves to mourn her best friend, husband, confidant and soulmate Alain along with her two daughters, Angele Parrington (Rob) and Chantelle Trudeau, along with her three grandchildren, Danielle Parrington (Wesley), Kyleigh Parrington, (Breck) and Nolan Parrington (Jessica). Lorraine also leaves three sisters to mourn her passing, Elaine Kilfoyle, Shirley Vandale (Ron) and Lois Fedrouk (Harry). Besides her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, she leaves behind her cherished great-granddaughter Penelope.
Lorraine's career as a nurse spanned her adult life. She was a voracious reader, had an incredibly green thumb and loved to pour over crosswords. She was also an avid walker. You could find her every morning on the Bishop Grandin Greenway trail on route to St. Vital Park.
Our hope for you, is that the walking trails are endless, the gardens are green, and the flowers are lush and that you are finally at rest.

Always loved and always remembered
by Alain Trudeau, Angele Parrington
and Chantelle Trudeau.

  • Alain and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Lorraine’s passing. I remember her to be a kind and loving person. When she saw you in the hallways, she’d stop to ask how you were doing, and always with a big smile. Another wonderful person has gone home too soon. - Posted by: Deborah Bonser (Past co-worker) on: Feb 09, 2022

  • To Angele, Rob, Danielle, Kyleigh, & Nolan- We couldn’t have asked for better next door neighbors for the last 21 years. Your mom & dad always took the time to say hello/goodbye to us on our driveway when they visited you. We also had little conversations here & there when they had garage sales at your house. Such friendly, lovely people. Sending our love your way. Hugs to all - Posted by: Powell family (Next door neighbors ) on: Feb 01, 2022

  • I worked at St. Amant many years ago with both Lorraine and Alain and I remember her quiet dedication to the individuals under her care - and to Alain. In more recent years, I often saw her at a distance, out for her walks as I zipped through the neighborhood in my car. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. - Posted by: Jillian Lamothe (Past Co-worker) on: Jan 31, 2022
