Janine is survived by Guy, her husband of 72 years, her children, Charlotte (Don Segal+), Rachel (David Koosis), Guy (Thuy), and André (Cheryl); grandchildren, David (Angelmarie), Sarah and Emma, Rebecca, Tavis (Tahnea), Dylan (Leiah), great-grandchildren, Alec and Flora; her sister Lorraine and niece Josanne in France, and her brother Gérald (Sharon). She was preceded in 1988 by brother Hubert, daughter Micheline, and in 2011 by son-in-law Don.
Janine laisse dans le deuil Guy, son mari depuis 72 ans, ses enfants Charlotte (Don Segal+), Rachel (David Koosis), Guy (Thuy), et André (Cheryl); petits-enfants David (Angelmarie), Sarah et Emma, Rebecca, Tavis (Tahnea), Dylan (Leiah), arrière-petits-enfants Alec et Flora; sa soeur Lorraine et sa nièce Josanne en France, et son frère Gérald (Sharon). Elle a été précédée en 1988 par son frère Hubert, sa fille Micheline, et en 2011 par son gendre Don.
A private family gathering to celebrate Janine's life will be held at a later date.

We are shocked and saddened to hear of Janine's passing. Our heartfelt condolences to Guy and family. We enjoyed many years as neighbors, exchanging fruits of our gardens. Janine liked the baby zucchini. She in turn brought us strawberries from her rural garden. We talked of beautiful sunsets and lovely flowers. Although far apart these past years, we have thought often of our dear neighbors. After their move away from us, we missed seeing Janine and Guy venturing out for their daily walks.
