LARRY BRIAN FRIESEN

Larry Brian Friesen left our physical earth on January 17, 2022, at the age of 75. Larry was born June 4, 1946, to Abram (Abe) and Tina (nee Wiebe) Friesen.
He grew up on the farm near Sewell, MB. On December 30, 1972, he married Caroline (nee Hoyak). They moved to Rosser, MB where they purchased their home and piece of land that they made their own and raised their children.
Larry loved working with his hands, was a hard worker, and was a jack of all trades. He met many people and friends through his different occupations over the years, from running his own mechanics shop, working construction, and hauling gravel with his Mack gravel truck. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved going to the car races and would search them out wherever he found himself. He enjoyed driving and being able to travel all over Canada and the United States for the last 30 years as a long-distance truck driver/owner operator. This past summer, Larry spent more time at home with his grandchildren and going fishing.
Larry was predeceased by both his parents, Tina Friesen (2004) and Abram Friesen (2014). He is survived by his wife of 49 years Caroline; daughter Lara (Mike), son Stuart; grandchildren Declan, Evan, and Margot; brothers Harvey (Maxine) Friesen, and Stanley (Anna) Friesen, sister Darlene (Patrick) Germain; nieces and nephews.
