  • So sorry to hear of Ted's passing! What a great man he was! Always friendly and smiling (just like Betty). Think of you often! Much love! - Posted by: Pauline Peters (Cote) (Co worker) on: May 03, 2022

  • I first met Ted, when he was my Adviser, during my early years as a Baseball Umpire. He helped me become more confident and able to officiate, and, more importantly, have FUN, doing something I loved! I told him that, when I fully retired, I would join a Square Dance Club, and learn what I needed, to dance while he called. I'm proud to say that I did just that, because I wanted to repay Ted for what he did for my Umpiring career, and because I knew it would be great Fun for him, and for me. I'm so glad that I had a chance to know Ted, and work with him. - Posted by: Ken Valainis (Friend) on: Mar 03, 2022

I have many fond memories of traveling with you both as we danced in the states, Canada and the many demos we did at several nursing homes to name a few. I was especially blessed to have Ted come out to my trailer near Grand Beach and call square dances for my birthday. You will be missed by many who had the pleasure to call you our friend. • I was shocked at hearing of Ted's passing. In my mind, Ted was a forever kind of individual. How could he pass away? He had gone through many challenges but came out of them successfully. May he rest in peace, with no more health issues and no more pain. He loved to talk and to call to all of us square dancers. He had numerous friends throughout Canada and the United States. Thanks Betty for drawing Ted into the square dance world. You helped him to be a successful square dance caller. Your patience and persistence was well received.
