RONALD THEODORE BEDRY
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ron Bedry on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in his sleep at his home in Winnipeg at the age of 68.
Ron was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 15, 1953, to parents Stephen Bedry and Irene D'Andrea (Bedry). He was predeceased by his mother Irene, father Stephen, and wife Irene. He leaves to cherish his memory his three sons Matthew, Joshua (Jill), and Mitchell (Charity), his granddaughter Jordan, his sister Janet Grainger, his brother Bud, other relatives, and many lifelong friends and colleagues.
Ron spent more than 40 years working as a carpenter, and he will be remembered fondly as a funny and one-of-a-kind man. He was known as an unconventional craftsman who excelled at building difficult and complex structures. He and his wife Irene spent countless hours enjoying time at their trailer on Netley Creek. Ron enjoyed target shooting, was an avid fisherman, and a lover of all things outdoors. He was also a proud supporter and volunteer for the Interlake chapter of the Children's Wish Foundation for 28 years, he was passionate about giving back and helping sick children.
Though often quiet and of few words in his later years, his devotion as a husband and his loving presence as a father were larger than life and will remain that way in our hearts. We are comforted knowing he is now reunited with the love of his life, Irene Bedry.
To comply with Ron's wishes there will not be a formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, to honour Ron's memory please consider a donation to the South Interlake Chapter of the Children's Wish Foundation, P.O. Box 139, Woodlands, Manitoba, R0C 3H0. A charitable tax receipt will be issued for each donation.
Condolences may be sent to www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com
Rest in peace Ron,
Together Forever.

To Ron's Family & Friends, I am so very sorry for your loss of your dad, granddad, brother, uncle, friend. Ron & Irene were our neighbors on Riverton Ave. Your parents were very kind & we enjoyed many backyard feasts & hilarious humor fun filled card games. Ron & Irene were always up for hosting a delicious barbeques along with Ron's very fine homemade dandelion wine. Babysitting Matthew, Joshua & Mitchell with my sister Sarina. We had a lot of fun. While Irene & my mom baked up a storm of Christmas treats. They are all together now, most likely having lots of laughs playing cards. I will always cherish the memories of our families on Riverton, when I feel sad I look back to those times & smile. Ron is reunited with his best friend & soulmate, together forever 💫❤❤💫 Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there's a memory, they live on in our hearts always. forever we shall treasure their legacy & what they taught us. Love & care of one another, especially now... through the most difficult times we grow stronger. - Posted by: Holly Coutu - Bults (Old Neighbor & Friend ) on: Feb 05, 2022
