PAULETTE GERMAINE CHAPUT
(nee CUZUEL)
It is with sadness that we announce Paulette's passing on Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home.
Paulette was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Raymond. Paulette will be truly missed by her children; Roger (Lorraine), Marc (Louise), Emile (Teresa), Paul, and Chantal (Scott); her seven grandchildren; Brett, Chantele, Elaina, Emma, April, Liam, and Mytro; and her three great-grandchildren; Isabella, Joshua and Theodore. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine Faraschuk and will be missed by many extended family and friends.
Mom was born on August 7, 1949 in Richer, Manitoba. She ran a home day care for many years, then went on to complete her GED and proceeded to acquire her commercial cooking certificate. After numerous years in the culinary field, she moved on to work in the school system as a school bus driver, where she worked for a few more years before she retired and enjoyed life together with Dad.
We would like to thank the home care workers for their exceptional care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and Mom will be reunited with Dad at the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery, 917 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, MB. Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will take place at the Holy Family Church. Following the service and respecting current health regulations, there will be a public graveside interment, on January 31, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at the cemetery.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

My condolences to Paulette's family. We both worked at King Transportation and used to discuss the garden and exchange plants. I drove her bus 402 after she retired until the bus was retired in the summer of 2021. - Posted by: Rina De Meyer (former co-worker) on: Feb 11, 2022

Paulette and I were childhood friends and later on in life our paths crossed again. Throughout our adult life we kept in touch off and on. My husband and I also knew Raymond, her husband very well and remember playing cards with them many times, sometimes at their home and sometimes at ours. Paulette was a good person who touched many lives with her willingness to help and her great smile. Both my husband Renald and I, are sorry for your loss and want you to know that Paulette will always be in our heart. May she rest in peace! We cherish the memories we had together. Sincere condolences! - Posted by: Marie Courcelles (Friend) on: Jan 30, 2022

I cared for both Raymond and Paulette with home care. They were always a pleasant visit and had good senses of honour despite their physical challenges. My sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Rossana DeLuca (Caregiver) on: Jan 29, 2022
