September 13, 1932 – January 23, 2022
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our mom and grandmother, Elma June Wiebe (nee Derksen). Mom and grandma passed away on January 23, 2022.
Mom was born on September 13, 1932 and grew up in Horndean, MB. Mom raised her family in Winnipeg before retiring to British Columbia. Mom will be sadly missed by her sons, Darryl (Laureen), Tim, Todd (Shadow) and Scott (Monique and Savannah) and grandsons, Kyle and Brendan. Mom was predeceased by her parents, David and Anne Derksen of Horndean, and her brothers, Herb, Dave and John and sisters, Edna and Helen.
Mom's greatest life accomplishment was selflessly raising four boys under arduous circumstances. Mom, we are forever thankful for your sacrifices. We love you and will miss you!

through sun or wind or storm
you rarely stumbled
or lost your grace

is yours again
Special thanks are extended to the staff of Hilton Villa in Surrey, BC who took exceptional care of Mom during her last chapter of this life.
As per Mom's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
