ANGELO LAFORGES
February 22, 1943 - January 29, 2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and nonno, Angelo Laforges on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
He leaves behind to mourn his wife of 53 years, Grazia; his children, Lino (Teresa), Madelynne (Brad), and Anita (Derek); and his grandchildren, Dante, Luca, Alyssa (Jordan), Luke, Jaida, Lacey, Jessica, Amelia, and Emmett; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
It was in Bitritto, Italy where Angelo met the love of his life Grazia, who he married in 1968. They immigrated to Canada shortly after to start a new life and family. Angelo was an ambitious, hard worker who enjoyed pursuing many work projects. He worked at Motor Coach for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching soccer, hockey and playing cards. His biggest joy was going to the lake, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano.
