ELEANOR HELEN CIESZYNSKI
(nee KILIMNIK)

March 10, 1934 – February 4, 2022

It is with profound sadness that the family of Eleanor announce her passing at Grace Hospital.
Eleanor was the love of her husband Arthur's life for over 69 years and he is missing her dearly. No greater love story has ever been written. The best Mom ever (she even won a couple of awards to prove what we already knew) to her four sons, Arthur (Marie), Alan, Doug (Barb) and Brian (Liz). A most loving Grandmother to James (Audrey), Erin (Chris), Michael (Carly), Kristy, Kyle (Whitney), Courtney (David), Kelley (Mark). With more than enough love to go around for the most adorable ten great-grandchildren (her words). Also missing her is her loving sister and best friend Alice; sisters-in-law, Victoria, Genevieve and Corinne and numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ann Kilimnik (nee Desiatnyk) and her in-laws, Thomas and Victoria Cieszynski; brothers-in-law, Joe, Joe, George, Walter, Alf and Henry; sisters-in-law, Julia, Eleanor and Helen. Quite a welcoming committee at the gates no doubt!
We would like to thank the caring professional staff at Selkirk Regional Health Centre, Selkirk Paramedic Service, Grace Hospital and Beausejour Hospital for taking such great care of Mom in these last few trying months.
Due to the current Covid restrictions, a private in person funeral service will be by invitation. The service will be live streamed via a link on her obituary at Gilbart Funeral Home`s website for you to share in this true Celebration of Life and love. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, MS Society of Canada or any charitable organization of your choice.

Condolences may be left on her tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
