DELORES JEAN MCGILLIVARY
November 29, 1969 – February 5, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Delores Jean McGillivary.
Delores leaves behind her sons, Kenneth, Julian and Jadon, and five grandchildren, Kenneth, Rhea, Onyx Michael, Johnathan, Cataleya.
Delores' loving heart will be so sadly missed. She was very loyal to her family and friends, her compassion was authentic, her truthfulness and beautiful spirit will be so sadly missed.
A time of visitation for Delores' Winnipeg family and friends will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12 at the Hemauer Funeral Home in The Pas, Manitoba at 1:00 p.m., burial will follow at Opaskwayak Cree Nation.
The family wishes to extend gratitude to all her family and friends and the medical staff at the Health Sciences Centre.
Vaccination protocol, proof of vaccination and masks are required to attend the viewing.

I just heard about Delores' passing. I live in a building she lived in and am heart broken to hear this news. I liked Delores. She was a unique woman. Warm, kind, so keen on trying to make her life a better one. I just wish the world had been kinder to her. She touched many people, myself included. I remember so many summer nights spent walking and talking and hanging out. My memories are filled with that HUGE smile, boys, rollerskates, Kims Foodstore playing videogames, Heritage Park and laughing so hard! We kept promising to get together in these last few years.
