JUSTINA DOERKSEN
September 10, 1923 - February 3, 2022
On February 3, 2022, Justina Doerksen went to her eternal home to be with her Lord.
Justina (Wall) Doerksen was born September 20, 1932. She was baptized upon the confession of her faith in 1950 at the Sommerfelder Church in Plum Coulee, Manitoba. Justina was married in 1950 to Peter Doerksen. Their first home was in Plum Coulee and the next year they moved to Winnipeg where she got her first job working at Quinton's. She spent most of her life working at Doerksen & Gronau Ltd. and Bethel Place. She passed away at their home in Winnipeg after a lengthy illness.
Justina was a faithful woman who was committed to her faith, family and church. Justina had a big heart for her children and grandchildren and cared about them very much. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage surrounded by God's creation.
Justina leaves behind her husband, Peter; her daughters, Linda, Debra/Rowan, Christine; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Jenni), Tina (Kyle), and Rebecca (Cohle); and her great-grandchildren, Njiva, Micah, Peter/Ridd, Connor, Levi, Judah, and Henry.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, February 11 at 6:00 p.m. A private Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. Livestreams for both services can be accessed on the Klassen website.

I have very few direct memories of Justina, however, as Chris' friend, I remember meeting Justina a couple of times in her senior years. I think of Justina as loving, gentle and caring. And I am enriched and thankful for the times I have connected with her; thank you Chris for providing those opportunities. My sympathy to the family; may your good memories bless you. - Posted by: Cheryl Giesbrecht (Christine's friend) on: Feb 09, 2022
