My husband and myself met Joan over seven years ago where she was employed. Soon after meeting Joan we met her husband Kelly. Chuck & I used to meet Joan & Kelly for breakfast and had good times visiting and talking about our trips to Mexico. We became really good friends and used to visit each other’s homes. Joan was always friendly and a very true friend. We Will miss her very much. Kelly took very excellent care of her when she got sick. He was always compassionate and caring for her. She was taken way to soon, she will be missed very much. Joan Rest In Peace Wishing our deepest sympathies to Kelly, Cody ,Jesse and all of Joan’s family as well as Kelly’s family. We met Kelly and Joan through work, and before we were transferred from Winnipeg, spent many fun evenings together. We reconnected in Calgary a few years ago, but sadly our busy lives kept us from gathering. It was always ….we should. We kept up through Christmas cards. I think I had a bit of a competition with Joan to see whose would be first, and she was primarily the winner, generally prefaced by a “we’re off to Mexico so I’m getting these out early”. Our deepest sympathies to Kelly, Cody, Jesse and the family. Gone way too soon. - Posted by: Cindy Risi (Friend) on: Feb 22, 2022

I'd like to extend my sympathies to Joan's family. She was a school friend from very long time ago, but I'll always remember her great sense of humor. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sue Gallos - Posted by: Susanne (school friend) on: Feb 13, 2022
