ALLAN PETER TANCHAK
January 27, 1974 - February 10, 2022
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Branden and Nathan, his father Peter (predeceased by his mom Bonnie), and his brother David (Shelley). He will forever be in the hearts of his Baba, Mary Tanchak (predeceased by Dido, Peter Tanchak), his niece Morgan (Anthony) and nephews Owen and Luke. He is survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Allan was predeceased by his grandparents, Mike and Mary Shott.
Allan was very mechanically inclined, and at the young age of 18 he worked for Advance Muffler for 10 years. He then started his Trailer Mechanic career at Maxim Trailers where he worked for two and a half years. Allan then got a job at Ocean Trailers as Interprovincial Trailer Technician, where he has worked until recently for 17 years.
We are very proud of Allan in getting his Journeyman Certificate on May 8, 2015.
Allan had the gift of being a truly skilled mechanic. He was an accomplished journeyman in his field and had the skills to back up his credentials. He used that God given ability to help others whenever he could. He was a very generous, humble man who never expected anything in return. He was a true friend to everyone who knew him. An honest, genuinely caring person.
Our family would like to thank the Bethesda nurses and Dr. Khan, in Steinbach, MB for their exceptional care and genuine respect for Allan, for which we extend our heartfelt appreciation.
His wishes have been honoured, cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
Donations in memory of Allan can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
Rest in Peace Allan.

Allan was my best friend in school, we took mechanics together in Dominion City back in 1990 were we were made team mates and shared many an adventure with the passion of old cars and dirt roads. We both graduated from there in 91. I haven't spoken to Al in long time and just recently heard about him leaving. It was never a boring moment when he was around and he couldn't be more better of a friend. in a way he was a brother to me and I'll miss him as such. My condolences to the family and to all that shared his friendship. We love ya Al. Rest in peace my friend, You will be missed. - Posted by: Chris Yanz (Friend) on: Feb 13, 2022
