REVA OMAN

It is with profound sadness that the family of Reva Oman announce her passing at Hamiota Health Centre on January 26, 2022.
Reva is survived by her children, Harvey and Shelley, Sandy and Michael as well as her seven grandchildren, Blake, Daniel, Kevin, Jenna, Andrea, Jackson and Brett. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Victor Chernick, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Reva had a very special relationship with her nieces, Marla and Lisa Chernick. Reva was predeceased by her parents, Saul and Tillie Fordman, and her son Michael.
Family was very important to Reva and she cherished the time spent with them.
Reva's happy place was the family cottage in Gimli. This began almost 80 years ago when she spent the summers there with her parents and sister. Reva continued spending her summers in Gimli with her children and grandchildren until very recently.
Reva will be remembered as a warm, kind and gentle soul whose beautiful smile always conveyed the message that you were loved.
The family would like to thank Dr. Steven Smith, her main caregiver Mary Ann, and the nurses and staff at the Hamiota Health Centre.
A graveside funeral service, officiated by Rabbi Yosef Benarroch, was held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on January 30, 2022.
