DOROTHY ALICE HICKS
January 8, 1926 – January 15, 2022
Dorothy (Dot) went home to Jesus on January 15, 2022, where she is golfing the 19th hole.
Dorothy will be sadly missed by her daughter Lynne (Garry), grandchildren, Lindsay, Erin (Evan), great-grandsons, Jackson, Tyson and Kolten, her brother Stanley (Mary), sister-in-law Phyliss, nieces, nephews, and friends in the three provinces that she lived in during her life.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Keith, parents, William and Alice Lindsay, siblings, Lily, Laverne, and Eleanor.
Dorothy moved to Kelowna, BC in 1979, where she lived life to the fullest, the way she wanted and where she became an ace golfer.
At Dorothy's request, cremation has already taken place.
Dorothy will be laid to rest in the coming months in Calgary, Alberta, next to Keith with a private family ceremony.
If friends or family choose, in memory of Dorothy donations can be made to your local Humane Society, ALS Society or your local junior golf program.
