Condolences & Memories (12 entries)

  • Noelline, My thoughts and prayers are with You and Your Family. I'm very sad for your loss. I always looked forward to my visits with You and Andy when I came home to see Dad. Dad always spoke how Andy was by to check up on him or help out when needed. Uncle Andy will be truly missed by All who knew him. May he rest in peace. • Oh dear grandpa Andy! My last solid link to my mother, I will miss you so much. I always cherished the time we had together and listening to your stories, receiving your heartfelt cards every birthday and Christmas and watching you play the harmonica, guitar and sing. My favourite was when you would bust out the old man puppet and make him dance the jig, arms swinging all over the place. You were so cool, so full of life and such a good person to talk too. This is hard for me to write, I didn’t get enough time with you as I was raised in Thunder Bay- but some of my fondest memories were on the last few trips I was able to take down to see you and Noelline. Spending time in the boat at your camp, roasting marshmallows, bringing me to see the falls. I love you so much. I miss you also. My condolences to other family members affected by his passing. My grandpa is a force to be reckoned with and will be on my shoulder for all time. - Posted by: Kayla Berthelette (Grand daughter ) on: Feb 22, 2022

  • Having known Andy for more than 50 years I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Andy was a long standing member of the Finishing Room Crew at the paper mill in Pine Falls and could always be counted on to keep life interesting. After his retirement Andy continued his contribution to many enjoyable conversations with the boys at the coffee shop. God Bless and keep you Andy. - Posted by: Kelly Sharpe (Friend ) on: Feb 17, 2022
