DAVID KEITH FORREST
May 29, 1941 - February 1, 2022

The family would like to announce the passing of Keith Forrest, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane, daughters: Sharon (Dan) Ainsley, Alyssa, Brynn; Tannis (Jon) Rowan, Kane; Jennifer (James), Jayden. He is also survived by a sister, Shirley, and two brothers, Larry and Fraser; (Ron, deceased).
After graduation, Keith went to Northern BC to work at various jobs where he stayed with his brother Larry. He moved back to Kaleida to work construction at the Manitou Pool Elevator and he also helped his dad farm. His dad persuaded him that farming would be a great future for him, even though he was absolutely determined to never be a farmer. At that time he met an amazing girl from Pilot Mound, Diane Manning, whom he encouraged to be a part of his farming life. He remembered her dad saying, "If it doesn't work out, don't come back home." Keith and Diane had three beautiful girls, and although at times he didn't like them very much, he did grow to love them. Throughout the years, farming was sometimes a struggle but Keith found the most joy in farming when he was doing it with his Dad.
After retiring, Keith and Diane built a beautiful house on a waterfront property at Pleasant Valley. He kept himself busy with several part time jobs. Keith and Diane enjoyed travelling and had many memorable trips. Keith and Diane started to travel to Arizona every winter to keep warm. Keith was an avid hunter and fisherman, and took many trips over the years with friends, which Keith really enjoyed. Sometimes Diane enjoyed them more.
Keith will be remembered for his witty one-liners and his sense of humour.
Everyone would agree, Keith was the most generous, kind, easy-going, and without a doubt, the most loved of the Forrest clan.

EVERYBODY LOVES KEITH
