July 1, 1927 - February 8, 2022
Peacefully, with family by her side, Connie passed away at the North Shore Hospice in North Vancouver.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert (58 years) in 2007. She is survived by daughters, Roberta (Walter) and Sandra (Donald), and her granddaughters, Kelly (Todd), Carolyn (Eric) and Sarah (Richard). She was blessed to have great-grandchildren, Connor and Maggie. Connie is survived by her loving sister Denise and her daughters, Jan (Cam) and Leslie (Henry). There were also great times and laughter shared at get-togethers with her cousins.
Connie grew up and raised her family in Fort Garry until they retired to Kelowna in 1988. As a couple, they enjoyed a golden retirement with homes in Sunrise and Sandstone communities. They made wonderful friends, shared many activities, as well as travel and cruise adventures. In 2017 she moved to Amica in North Vancouver where she loved all the activities and tours they offered, and especially her lattes in the morning. We will all miss her warm and caring presence in our lives.
Cremation has taken place and a family celebration along with interment with her husband Robert, will happen over the summer in Winnipeg. In lieu of cards or flowers, donations in her name can be made to a charity of your choice.
