Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I met Gerry only a few years ago, and she always made me laugh every time we met. I recall that she was very proud of her boys and was looking forward to more adventurous travel as she had done in the past. I know she also cared deeply for her Mom in BC. We always compared stories about husbands and parents and kids with many laughs! I will truly miss her and send sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Carol Kelunick (Friend ) on: Mar 10, 2022

  • Gerrie was a wonderful teaching partner of mine many years ago when we taught grade 7 together at Stanley Knowles School. I learned so much about teaching and life from Gerrie & I was lucky to team teach with her! I will miss Gerrie's story telling & laughter the most!! The world has lost a gem! My deepest condolences to Gerrie's family & may you find comfort in all the loving memories she gave. - Posted by: Alison Fearn (Teaching partner & friend) on: Feb 21, 2022

  • We will miss our times with Gerry. She was a great cook and she loved being around her family. I will never forget her house always being clean or her cleaning in the midst of our conversations. I used to tell her to sit down and relax which she would always laugh at. Thinking of you Trevor, David and Davin at this time. Take care of each other. - Posted by: Darryl, Kristin, Katie and Daniel (Nephew and family) on: Feb 19, 2022
