CHRISTINE HAYES
(nee COURT)
Christine Hayes of Doorty, Four-Mile-House, Roscommon, Ireland and formerly of Winnipeg. February 20, 2022; (peacefully), at her home.
She will be very sadly missed by her loving husband Dr. Colm Hayes (formerly of the Medical Arts Building, Winnipeg), daughter Helen, granddaughters, Tara and Edel, son-in-law Pete, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends.
Christine's funeral and cremation will take place privately in Ireland.
Her family very much appreciate your understanding and support at this difficult time.

Colm grew up in my neck of the woods, and was a wonderful export to Winnipeg. Happy Birthday, Big Sister, who went out yesterday trying one last time to "do a dentist" (Private Family Joke). I was so sad to hear of Chrissie's passing. My memories are of a beautiful, gentle loyal and loving young woman inside and out. The memories come flooding back. She will be very much missed. We are so sorry to learn of Christie’s untimely passing. We have very happy memories of our years working together. Lots of fun and lots of jokes!!! It was truly a pleasure and privilege being able to work together - until Colm stole you back! And further a privilege to treat patients referred by you and Colm from “downstairs” thereafter. After spending many hours in Dr. Hayes' dental chair, I got to meet them more on a personal level. Christine could always be counted on for a great chat & she'd explain procedures & always had a calming effect. She was a total professional in her job, as was Dr. Hayes.
