(MONTGOMERY)
Mom died peacefully in Penticton Hospital on February 13, 2022, surrounded by family. She was 95.
"Dot" was born September 3, 1926 in Crystal City, MB to Jack and Violet Montgomery, becoming the second of their four girls. She attended Angus Business College in 1949 before venturing west, staying with family in Edmonton and Chilliwack. It was in Chilliwack that she met Kenneth Hull. Ken and Dot married on October 2, 1952 in Crystal City and moved into an apartment in Winnipeg. They lived in Winnipeg, Brandon, and Portage la Prairie as they raised their three sons. After Ken's retirement, Mom and Dad moved to Summerland, BC where they enjoyed the rest of their lives. Dad died in 2008. They had been married for 55 years.
Mom leaves behind sister Ruthie (Wally), sons, Curtis (Liisa), Rodney (Linda), and Darcy (Karen), as well as five grandkids and six great-grandkids.

Dot was a wonderful sweet woman who lived for her family. I never heard her say a mean word about anyone. She enjoyed life and being in the moment whether it was a visit with friends and family or watching humming birds at the flowers. I think of you often and will continue to do so. I am sorry to read the news of your sister. My condolences to all who mourn Dorothy's passing. It has been a long time, Ruth, since we attended school in Crystal City. I hope you are keeping well and still enjoying life. With the Covid problem, my English Country dances have been cancelled and also curling with the Seniors group.
