It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Emma at Riverview, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer.
Emma is survived by her youngest brother Garfield (Marjorie) of Edmonton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, William (Margaret), Harold, sisters Beatrice (Jack) and Juanita (Paul), niece Paula, her roommate Tony, and many other long-time friends.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, February, 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 59 Academy Road, Winnipeg. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. following the service, everyone is welcome. Proof of vaccination required.
Our family would like to extend our deepest thanks to all the staff at the Grace Hospital ER and Riverview Palliative Care Unit for giving Emma such compassionate care during her short stay.
In memory of Emma, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Emma will be greatly missed by family and friends, but we celebrate in her joy of now being with her Lord.

My sincere sympathy to all the family. Everybody will miss Emma here in Donwood West. She was such a lovely content person. I remember our little "get togethers" just for a beer or so.
