Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Our hearts ache on the loss of Linda. She was a bright and beautiful woman with a warm and bubbly personality. When she met our family, she wrote the most beautiful poem which pays tribute to her creative and loving nature. We are sad especially for Kyle, Jess and her entire Sykes family - her Mother Delores, George, Colby and Chelsea. She was a sweet soul and will be missed by many. Our deepest condolences, Cindy, Allan, Andrea and Ian Grant - Posted by: Cynthia Grant (Auntie ) on: Mar 06, 2022

  • Linda had an unforgettable smile and a contagious laugh. She loved to cook for her growing boy and my family was so jealous when she did as we could smell it through out the house. Talking about her family or her pups I do believe is what made her smile the biggest when she did! I remember seeing you floating in the pool with your kiddos and it made me feel you were right where you needed to be! Fly high, sing loud, dance often and send down your love whenever you can. You will always be remembered. Love your Amelia family. - Posted by: Tracy (Friend) on: Mar 05, 2022

  • Linda was my roommate for some time last year. She had an infectious laugh, her eyes lit up the room, she brought comfort to many people. We shared drumming, singing, sweat lodges, hilarious laughs and many tears together. I dyed her hair, she dyed mine fuscia. it was truly a hot mess, im still giggling inside thinking about it..."semi permanent" hair dye is just not true lol... She loved her kids so much, always wanted to know they were doing OK. Our past lives were quite similar, we shared our "stuff" whenever day or night, and it felt like I had a sister.Never known that feeling of complete trust with anyone else. I grieve because I can't see or hug Linda anymore, I smile because I KNOW she is OK, very content, much loved, and finally found her absolute inner peace. Linda, I'll never forget you, see you in the stars beautiful soul, beautiful lady. 💞 - Posted by: Sarah Johnson (Roommate/friend) on: Feb 27, 2022
