JOHN DOUGLAS PYBUS
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather on February 25, 2022 in Winnipeg.
Predeceased by his wife May, he leaves behind daughter Jen (Craig); son Chris (Nora); grandchildren, Laura (Matt), Tavis (Katie), Colin and Matthew; great- grandchildren, Carson, Logan, Jackson, and Brody.
He was born in Napanee, Ontario, moving to Winnipeg with his family in 1966.
Dad was a quiet, thoughtful man, who mentored us and supported our family with love. He was a voracious reader, an avid golfer and enjoyed playing Bridge, Cribbage and pursuing his daily crossword puzzle, which he completed in pen. He loved listening to music, watching movies and travelling.
Dad enjoyed a 42 year career with IBM, being well thought of by clients, co-workers and managers, thus being awarded top Technical Specialist in Western Canada for his expertise and quality service.
His was a life well lived and he will be sorely missed.
A special thanks to all the medical specialists who assisted Dad through the last years of his life. Your efforts were appreciated.
If desired, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Siloam Mission.
