SELMA JOAN MARIE DEMSKI

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our mom, Selma Joan Marie Demski, a great woman, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother on February 24, 2022, after a brief illness. Mom was 84 years old. She has shared with us that she was born in "a swamp" in Riverland, Manitoba – just outside of Lac Du Bonnet. In fact, she has shown us where the homestead was and indeed it was in the swamp bushes. She was born April 17, 1937, to John and Sophia Tyndall, being the youngest sibling.
Mom married her loving husband Alex on November 10, 1979; and was heartbroken when he passed June 8, 2002. She now will join him on her new journey.
She is the loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (GMA) of: Beverly (Dave) Rose; "favourite" Son Richard (Terry) Nawolski, Audrey (Clayton) Scott and Frances (Robert) Kullman. Along with her loving children are her Grandchildren: Lisa (Dason) Wowk, Kori (Mike) Desmarais, Krista (Derek) Mancini, Jenna (Scott) Fraser, Barry (Hattie) Nawolski, Crystal (Vern) Stevens, Shannon, Dana (Martin) Nawolski, Doug Park, Steven (Kelly) Lloyd, Holly (Nelson) Pereira, Amanda (Jaret) St Andrassy, Nick (Sheila) Rose. Her Great -Grandchildren will miss their GMA terribly: Zachary, Domenico, Hudson, Alexander, Anna, Amber, Emily, Nathan, Alexzander, Declan, Dominic, Sophie, Maddie, Harper.
Mom has many remaining nieces and nephews, Leona, she loved your telephone conversations so very much always looking forward to your name appearing on her cell phone. Mom had so many friends who played such an important part of her life – thank you all for your contributions to our mom's life.
